Public Policy and Advocacy

The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative seeks to engage nonprofits in advocacy and public policy issues by providing organizations with the tools and resources necessary to be effective advocates and lobbyists for their organization's mission and the nonprofit sector at large.

The Nonprofit Leadership Initiative is a nonpartisan initiative dedicated to expanding the role of Kentucky's 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations in voting and elections. We provide training, materials and other resources designed to help nonprofits integrate advocacy and public policy work into their ongoing activities.
