Why do nonprofits need a state association?
If you've visited this website, you likely know that nonprofit organizations are essential to vibrant, healthy communities. Nonprofits are also an economic engine. In Kentucky, the nonprofit sector is the Commonwealth's third largest industry, employing one in eleven workers. Kentucky Nonprofit Network exists to advance and strengthen our nonprofit sector. KNN provides quallity professional development and educational opportunities; a unified voice on public policy issues to protect and advance the sector; resources to help organizations build capacity and implement best practices; and time and money saving member benefits.
Nonprofits are doing important work and KNN is here as your state association to help you focus on what you do best - serve your community.

Who can join KNN?
KNN has several types of membership for nonprofits, foundations, businesses/corporations, individuals and students. Go here to see our membership investment rates.
Who can use member benefits within my organization?
If your organization is a KNN member, most member benefits are available to all board and staff members.
When does our membership start?
Membership begins in the month dues are received and covers a 12 month period. Access to discounts and services, including members-only web content, end if you haven’t renewed your membership by the expiration date. You will receive renewal notices by mail and email.
What if our mailing address, email addresses or primary contacts change?
